    Hi everyone,
Came across Blue Frog a few weeks ago and can strongly recommend it to combat spam in your inbox. It’s using a different approach that most other tools which gives you the satisfaction of actually hearting the spammer itself and it’s completely free. :D

I heard on wired.com I beleive that the biggest russian spammer attacked them. Knocked em out for a week. And supposedly got everyones email address too. ;)

Thunderbird is good enough for me anyway. I sign up for lots of crap, and don't really get much spam. :)

Yes, they where bought down by a major spammer for a few days but everything is back online. Shows what they are doing is really hearting these b******s. The spammer send out several e-mails to his mailing lists telling everybody that he has everyone’s e-mail address and will spam them even more if they do not cancel the Blue Frog – nothing but desperate measurements and no e-mail addresses have been exposed. Here is an interesting blog about the whole attack where the spammers themselves participating, trying to spread panic. It’s a long read with over 250 posts but worth it.

Personally I dont care about email spam. Tho some jerk is spamming my msg brd shoutbox everyday due to some bug, and thats rather annoying. :)

Anyway I hope the frog sticks to what they're doing and doesn't start blacklisting entire subnets like some other *&*(*^ "spamcop" groups do.

(Gee lets ban *.gmail.com sort of thing..) Oh I won't name names tho I should.

Gmail is better than Ymail as they block spams accurately than Ymail :)

Chetan I use to get around 40 spam mails daily in GMail. I think MAYBE a few directories/others sell email addresses to spammers. :(
