How can a site get #1 position in Google.com

No one can tell you a exact answer for this question to how a site can get to number 1 position in the search results. However, what we know is that, building relevant backlinks and adding use full content in your site will surely help to rank higher in the results.

 

#1 for what?

If it is for a highly competitive keyword, a lot of hard work (plus luck) is involved. Less popular long tail keywords are probably the best option.

Example: "make money online" - For a new site, almost impossible to a place among the 1,000 ( Google Results 1 - 10 of about 34,700,000).

 

I wonder if this counts as quality backlinks to get index on goole. Anybody knows?

 

Wrong, I have made a niche website 2-3 days ago and I'm now already on second place for it's keywords without any linkbuilding. It will probably be one of the aspects to increase your ranking but it isn't the most important one.

noone can guarantee this. just work hard day and night with fresh unique content, strong quality backlinks then you will get there one day.

 

Lots of backlinks and of course quality content. Article marketing is one of the best ways to get high PR backlinks quickly.

 

While most would say that the "domain name" itself isnt important i firmly disagree
as ive managed to get sites too the first page with 26,800,000 in google and
283,000,000 in yahoo with minimal backlink building and hardly any content.

I would recommend that you do some SEO (no special order)

1. <H1> <H3> ect ect
2. Image Tags
3. W3C Compliant
4. Back-link building (using several Keyword variations)
5. Build good Content
6. meta tags & keywords

By making sure that you have covered most of these aspects then the chances
are higher that you will do better in the serps.

The best way is to do it the honest way. Get great backlinks and create great contents. Pages viewed and time spent on your site will help influence Google so keep it real and provide as many usefull information as possible.

I have implemented your suggetions on the website and doing suggested off-page for the website..I am also waiting for the results. it will take some and I am following your suggetions.

 

it's all about building back links to your your by posting on do follow forums and do follow blogs. It will take many weeks of hard work

Backlinks are ke, without these your site will fail.

 

There is no any short key for get #1 on Google it's require time to get that position. If your website is new and your keyword is competitive then it's impossible to get #1 possition on that keyword. Long Tail keyword will be help for new website Becuase google count older domain factor in there SERP.

Content is always king in SEO so, build some unique content for your visitor, write some good article and submit it in article directory it will help to gain in good qulity back links with in content.

 

I have a warez website and i got top 1 in many keywords but i don't know much things in SEO but i can tell you this :
1.Write a good unique content
2.optimize your meta tags(title,keywords,descriptions,…)
3.Create a sitemap and submite to serche engine(especially google,yahoo,and MSn …)
4.Link exchange with other related or non related websites(prefered to be better ranked than yours .)
5.Submit your website to directories
6.use social bookmark and social networks to geerate good traffic(Digg.com,stumbleUpon.com,ect…)
7.Use videos sharing website to promote your website(Youtube.com,dailymotion.com,videos.google. com,ect…)

 

First of all, you must check out your keyword competition. If it is saturated (for example, if your niche keyword is "click here", i doubt you can compete with Adobe) avoid this keyword. Find another keyword. If your keyword is not so highly competitive, get tons of backlinks from other sites in to yours containing your keyword. This is the fastest way to bring you on top of search engine.

Please suggest me how many H1, H2 tags we can use in our page.
As my page has 7 big heading, can I use 7 H1 tag and 4 sub heading for every big heading? Please let me know if i can use 4 H2 tags under every H1 tag.
