I have moved my site from one domain to another but the URL structure is same. I know that 301 works when you change the structure of the url within a domain to replace the your new URLs with existing URLs in google index with the same SERP, Please tell me will it works for me as i have change the domain??? If not is there any other way to save my SEO work which i have done on the old domain??

301'ing is the standard practice for moving to another domain. As always there is a risk, but if you gotta do it, then this is the best way to do it.

Another thing you should do is try to contact anyone who gave you a backlink and ask them to change it to your new domain.

Most certainly use 301 redirects in this instance, and I second TMedia's suggestion of trying to get all your backlnks changed. In a recent instance of changing domains on a site, the new domain appeared in Google's index, then dropped a few days later to be replaced by pages from the old domain. It was not until we started replacing backlinks to the old domain that SERPs ranking returned.
Opposing that, in a similar instance at about the same time - but with a very much larger and more established site/domain - there was no problem at all.

The 301 redirect is the best way, but, do it with cautious. Otherwise you will loose all which have gained.;)

301 is a good way to drive your visitors to proper page.
With regards to SERP, im not quite sure, I think it's not easy (but still possible) to rank well a 301 page.
