PR2 Poker Blog For Sale Earning $190+/month Consistantly

NOTE: I made an error, the earnings are $170+, not 190+, could the mods please edit the title! Thanks

I'm looking to clear some sites out of my portfolio (in particular gambling and adult for personal reasons) and I'd like to put this one up.

The site is 2blogpoker.com and its an aged PR2 blog with all unique content that earns with both TextLinkAds.com and LinkWorth.com

The site runs on WordPress, has Google Pagerank 2 and Alexa ranking of 1,369,075.

The sites TextLinkAds earnings since I bought it in May are as follows:
    May: $68.91
    June: $115.98
    July: $127.20
    August: $114.96

When I bought the site in May, it had been earning $68.91 for many months (the original seller had proof of earnings), and I increased it simply by increasing the number of ad spots from 4 to 8 in June.

LinkWorth TextAds have earned $233.12 since I purchased the site in May, for an average of $58.28 per month.

With LinkWorth and TLA added, the monthly earnings is as follows:
    May: $127.19
    June: $174.26
    July: $185.98
    August: $173.24

As you can see, with the ad spots increased, the site consistantly earns over $170/month and earnings should stay consistant as long as you keep the ad spots at 7 or 8. If you up the adspots to 10 and they sell, you'll make even more.

Screencaps for earnings proof are below.

This is not an auction, I am looking for offers.
The minimum offer I will accept is $1020 which is a mere 6 months revenue at $170/month.
BIN is set at 12 months revenue which is $2040.

    Payment by PayPal or Escrow.com

This site is also up at DigitalPoint. I will keep both up to date. PM me if you'd like, but please post all offers in the thread. Im looking to sell this quickly.

    Cheers
    Ryan

    LinkWorth Earnings
Take the ammount due, plus the ammount of the last payments (the first payment lists rev from before I owned the site) and divide by 4.

    The URL is 2blogpoker.com

TextLinkAds and LinkWorth both pay trough PayPal yes.

As far as TLAs earnings, firstly if you research it, there is no evidence that Google has actually penalized sites with TLA on them. Darren Rowse made note of this on ProBlogger in which he noted that while one of his sites that did use TLA took a hit on PR, his other blog that did not sell text links also took a similar hit. A lot of sites took Page rank hits over the last couple updates regardless of whether or not they sold text links.
ALso, if Google did actually penalize sites selling text links, these "penalties" would have been only felt by large scale sites. A PR2 blog earning so little (170 is nothing compared to what some of these sites bring in), would not be on Googles radar.

Also, traffic sources as per request by PM.

MOG, thanks for the interest. Unfortunately though there is no way I can lower the starting bid to less than the 6 months rev its currently at.

When I purchased the site I didn't have accounts with either TLA or Linkworth. I got the accounts set up and the site transfered from the prev. owners accounts to mine and it only took a couple days.

THe site requires only as much upkeep as you want to put into it.

Right now, I put up one new post a month and before I bought it, it was updated even less and the earnings were never affected.

That being said, if you wanted to update it every day, you could surely build the traffic up, which might allow for you to add income through adsense on top of the current text link income.

    Cheers

    Hi,

    Can you post traffic details?

Is the content re written from existing content, or do you write about a subject from scratch, could you provide sources for potential content?

What are the hosting and other costs?

    Thanks

    Grant,
Please see the sitepoint auction for traffic details. As stated, traffic is minimal. The strength of the site is the earnings.

As for the content, the previous owner hired a writer to produce original articles which were then put on the site. Since then I have also written original articles for the site.

The hosting is minimal, whatever a cheap host costs these days. I think Im paying $10 a month to host all of my websites, so you could definitely host this for less than $10 on one of the cheapie packages like HostGator.

Other than hosting there are no costs. So in total, your costs will be only hosting.

I'd just like to ad that if BIN is met, I will write 10 completely unique articles on poker strategy, theory, equipment, etc. all of a minimum 500 words, for the new owner to use on the site as they say fit.

There have been bids at sitepoint, so the price will not be going down.
