Well my experince is not that great either, if you continue to post for the same site Yahoo tends to block the user and delete all the answers that the user posted. Can you PM your id that you are using on Yahoo Answers? I am interested in the service that's why asking the question here.
Most of them simplily make the answer or use the auto posting (even auto posting will post a long answer). I'm now level 5 yahoo answer account with 40% best answer rate and top contributor on google and SEO section. I not posting tons of answer but only few. My rate now is $0.50 per answer.
