How do your pages perform on the various main SEs, that is how are you doing on Google compared to Yahoo compared to MSN (old) to MSN (new) to AOL to Gigablast etc... (with a site still under construction) I'm doing very well on Yahoo, MSN (old) and Gigablast, not so much on Google, MSN (new) and AOL. I was looking at making some deductions if some your pages are showing similar results.
Google = Good Yahoo = VERY bad. MSN Old = VERY bad. MSN New = VERY good. AOL = Unknown, will look. -- Edit, looked, uh, the same as Teh Gewgle?, err, slightly better than teh g00g. Gigablast = WORSE than Yahoo.
For my number 1 search term: Google = Good Yahoo = Good MSN Old = Good MSN New = Good AOL = Good Gigablast = Almost as good I am blessed to be able to hold down the number 1 spot for my number 1 term in all but Gigablasts SE.
Hmm, interesting results here. I think you do better in Google and MSN Beta if you have good content (and links obviously), but better in the others if you have more keyword laden content...

Maintaining is one of the many things I have to do. Any good web designer, seo etc... should be doing this, don't you think?
Of course, there was a thread asking what to do after reaching the number 1 spot, and I think most agreed the next step was to keep that spot and it's no easier than getting there with competition always increasing, algorythm that keep changing and regular updates needed both for the SEs and the visitors.
