asp generated site from a static htm

I have heard going to an dynamic asp generated site from a static htm based site can do weird things though, does anyone know if this is true??

This isn't true per say - you can experience weird things coming from any kind of site. Generally this shouldnt be an issue

I don't think there are any issues. These days almost all websites are dynamic.
The main advantage of a dynamic website is that it has a Content management system through which the website can be easily updated by multiple users in different locations
