As far as I see each hosting company uses various methods to make customers buy their domains. They can provide free domains, free Fantastico scripts, website building software, templates etc. I am planning to launch my hosting company really soon. Also I think to include free internet marketing services in some my hosting packages. I am just wondering can such internet marketing program be considered as a significant competitive advantage stimulating customers to make a purchase? What do you think about this idea? Thanks in advance!
its a nice change since i haven't seen that with any other company and that it might work or it might not. just test the waters to see how it goes.
Like Saaddy said, it's a nice change. The hosting market is very saturated, and not only that it's very competitive. With reseller accounts widely available, practically anyone can get into the market. With that being said, hosts are looking for ways to be different. I think you've got a good idea. Even if it doesn't work, I think you trying to be different is a great idea. For you to survive in this hosting market, you've got to be different.
I couldn't agree more with the above comment. Definitely give it a try. The cost of trying shouldn't be to high.
I am going to provide such search engine solution only for business and dedicated hosting packages. Hope they will be considered as signifficant competitive advantages like free domains, etc.
I haven't seen any webhosting companies providing internet marketing services for their hosting packages as competitive advantages. I will try to be the first one!
