A buddy of mine is trying to sell a domain name or trying to use it for a great niche website.

Does this domain have any value to anyone else? Any input helps.

I have seen so many nonsense names selling for high $xxx.xxx that I'm not sure who is who in appraisals and how

 

Yeah. Brandable as in Mashable, Google, Squidoo, Etc brandable. Who knew what these meant before the sites came out. so that type of brandable.

 

looks like a good domain name. But I am afraid that anybody would want to give a high amount for this one. If your friend can make a good website then it may give a good value.

 

To an end user it might be able to fetch a good amount but to a reseller I'd say low $xx

 

Unless Torple means something that I don't know about, the only value this name has is in development.

 

It is pronouncible and hence can be easily made brandable. Mid xx $ I would say.

 

Yeah, I'll give him the advice to place something up on there. I think that is what he has been wanting to do, Just thinking about what to place on there.

Torple means nothing, Easy to remember, and is short. So hopefully can do some good with it.

 

everything could be brandable if you put a meaning to it. If people associate the domain name blabla dot com with something that is special or of great interest to them then yes the blabla domain could make a killer.

Here comes the time to say that in order to create a meaning one needs a well prepared marketing plan and a never seen before idea. Kinda hard, eh? Nothing is as easy as it seems but yes if you put some hard work you could get there!

 

You see if it was Tople.com then it would be brandable, that R in there spoils it somewhat. Only for development, mate, wouldn't fetch much selling.
