How to make a Cross-browser site in the simplest way?

    Well, bassically my question is the one of the title.
    And i have another one... how to install Internet Explorer 6.0 when you already have Internet Explorer 7... i want to have both installed on my computer.

    Just use standard CSS/(x)HTML and it should look the same in every browser. Try to always use padding/margin properties as they vary from browser to browser.

    There is a good plugin for firefox that will show how your site looks in IE6. Google it to find out. I also suggest using protable apps. I have portable Opera, IE7, FF3 all on my computer. The browsers I couldn't find I installed.

    It's a great tool that shows you how your design actually looks in different browsers.

    Browsershots are all great but who has time to wait around just to make sure everything looks fine. The only time I really use them is to find out how a site will look in lesser popular browsers and different screen sizes.

    I think this is the plugin that displays as Internet Explorer. Not sure.
