eBay - Is it worth my time and effort

    Hi all-

    I've got a GPS review site with good SERP rankings. I have a fair amount of comparison shopping links on the page.

    I've had very little luck with CJ in the past, but am considering adding eBay links in the comparison shopping section of my reviews. I could use keywords, or just a general link (easier to implement).

    Anybody have an opinion as to whether this is worthwhile or not?

    Is add content that is updated constantly to your site.
    My experience with ebay is that once all is said and done, I made an average of 50 cents per transaction.
    People have to click on your link, go to the auction, bid, and win.
    All ebay does is basically split their fees with you.
    And my share obviously so far, is downright terrible!

    Thanks to you both for answering. I have Amazon links already and they are my leading source of revenue.

    FYI, this is what drove my interest in eBay -- one GPS sold every three minutes!

    eBay seems to work very well for some people.

    Try it out and see what happens. Experimentation is a key factor.

    It was especially good when new user registrations were $20 per signup.

    Not to stray to far off topic...but..

    I run a number of content sites on CJ, and have applied to eBay a number of times...
    All of my sites almost always get into the CPA programs instantly without any issue, and are all family friendly..but eBay turns me down each and everytime. Anyone else have an issue getting in or is it just me??

    Okay, I put eBay links on my top 20 product pages. I'll try and remeber to post back here when and if I get a sell (and post how much I make!). Gotta say, I do like eBay's keyword tool. I sent them a list of all the products I have reviewed and I got links back instantaneously. Trackable to the product at that. If only Amazon were that easy!
