Many people disagreed with me when I said that Clicks and Impressions aren't counted when AdSense is down. Now that Adsense is back up, take look at your AdSense stats. They a little low for today huh? It seems that every few weeks on Saturday's google adsense goes down until 4:00 pm pacific time. However, ads are still running. Like I said, google wouldn't give out 'FREE' clicks. Thus, they're taking full profit instead of splitting it w/ us on these days in which adsense is "down" and "out for maintenance" More like, Out so google can make a few extra million bucks....
Okay. You guys may be right. But from what I can remember last time, AdSense simply screws people out of their money when they're "down for maintenance." Maybe I am wrong... I guess we'll see when today ends, no?
no clicks at all for me today. Very unsual. I'm about to give up and sell my site or just oark the damn thing
this happens every few weeks on a Saturday but the stats are always updated by the end of the day. it just takes a while, they don't update them all at once.
My earnings are looking very thin, but I dont think they have been updated since before they went "down" - hoping to see much higher numbers in the next few hours when the stats catch up.
Patience. - Simstar, like I said. This has happened before. I'm not saying that the stats won't catch up, but ... they probably won't...
I agree. They probably will be updated by tomorrow. But it would be nice if they posted a notice, so people don' think the worse.
When I checked my impressions with statcounter this morning they were very low (almost 95% of where they are at that time any other day). Then I tried to see with Adsense that was down as well. I started to see some stats all of sudden for statcounter at 5pm PST, but I still think it is not showing all the impressions for today yet. I think the same is true for Adsense as well. Will have to wait til end of the day to see if everything catches up.
