Very few people listen to them yet. On top of that, their ads are outrageous. They will tell you that many do listen to it, which is why the rates are high. Nope.

Look around for lower rates, though. Try one out to see for yourself.

I remembered it, but my credit doesn't need help. So, why would I visit site? Depends on your product or service and target area. I would remember this than a 1-800 number.

Incidentally you have been a GEM of fantastic ideas over the last month or two.
How are your marketing ideas going?
Are you going for the Trabant with the stickers or going for the " Racing version" with no roof?
You can be the "Godfather" of Widget!"
Last time you spoke to me it was over the benefits of a Link Directory... that you owned...... and how my SEO was misplaced.

The thing about radio online or off, is that generally people don't take any notice, its just background noise, advertisers need to drum out ads 50-100 times before listeners respond, and now for my shameless plug, our service offers similar style ads, but the beauty of our system is, ads are played to website visitors, right as a website is loading, this is when they are at their most attentive, and most focused point, otherwise they leave inside 20seconds. If your interested in new marketing methods check out my signature.

I think this is pretty much it...

Internet radio can be useful if used correctly. That does not mean slapping up a direct response ad in the middle of some random show.

Radio ad's should be a small part of a marketing plan.

Use it to build your brand to a group of targeted listeners, and continually hit them with different forms of advertising. Repetition and subtleness is key.

Marketing and Advertising are not about one thing that works, it is a combination of multiple streams of advertising that helps build your brand awareness. Like Valley said, brand conquers all and that is what you want to build on is your brand recognition. Should you consider internet radio advertising, yea sure maybe. If you actually look at the demographics of the listeners of that internet radio station, where the visitors are from, what times of the day do they have the most listeners, etc. then you would use that to see if you want to take that step into online advertising. If an internet radio station cannot tell you any of this then that is a sure sign to move on to another one. Another important thing to think about is can you afford it in your budget?

I suppose it would depend on the market you are targeting and the kind of listeners on the radio that you advertise with. You would need to find a radio station that you know has listeners that may be interrested in your market.

Advertising a dance CD on a classic rock radio station is pointless. Get where i am coming from?

from what i understand you pay per 1000 listeners cpm theres tracking software tells how many heard it where there from. The player displays a banner when the add is running.
