Got a link from paypal phishing site. Thanks to gmail

I have today got a link

Its true phishing site. When we enter username and password it will send it and shows us password incorrect.

Thanks to gmail who put it in spam box and showed me it is phishing.

 

I have put a warning.

 

the site was deleted you can use firefox browser, it will help you to block scamming sites.

 

yeah firefox blocks such siets now./

 

forward that mail to they will take care of that site

 

I have deleted the email it was in spam. I have reported to enoms domain registar.

 

Yes nows day many phishing site is built to get people account password so it wise to not click any link contain at email

Damn , The Most funny thing , Even if your e-mail Id dont have paypal account , you will also get mail about paypal limited etc etc , i dont have paypal in my personal Id but i do get paypal phishing e-mails unfortunately i dont even click and read it just delete it.

 

Its better you report to paypal.

 

You should report to PayPal Spam/Spoof Dept. about this. They will know how to deal with such spam
During the past week, I got more than 10 spam emails claiming they were ebay/paypal too!

 

I got reply from paypal.

I don't click any link in any e-mail I get unless I know who it's from. Although the links look right, if you mouse over them, it's pretty easy to spot. Now I have to say, I've seen a few really nice looking e-mails. Ones that I wouldn't catch unless I knew better.

Those CNN spam e-mails are pretty good. The story that they quote goes to a real link on CNN, but the story they talk about isn't what they mention. Then a "Full Story" link below takes you to some other page.

 

Thats why i always prefer gmail over any email company

 

I get this sort of mail all the time from people claiming my bank account info needs to be updated or some such. The funny thing is that we are talking about banks I haven't been a member of for at least ten years. Stupid phishing scams are just so irritating.

 

I've received many of such links, including Bank of America fraudulent links. Always make sure you know what you are clicking on.

 

First time I see someone define as cool a phishing email, look that the OP chose the cool smilie to label it this way

 

Seems like they work randomly, LOL. What a stupid spammer machine.
