    Hello friends,

I want to build a website but the requirements are quite complex, so I will tell you what are those and please guide me how should I approach the website design part.

I run a business and I have 20 employees right now...which may increase. I want to create a website which will allow each one of them to login and see there information, how much work they have to do..how much they completed...etc. Also I want clients( about 30) to login and see there information and other information about the work assigned to my company. I will maintain the data in about 7-8 database tables..with about 12-15 columns each. I want my own login- the highest one - the administrator login to manage each and everything.

I also want the first page and a few pages of my website to promote the main business, there should be a small login button for clients and employees differently, and after successfull login they should be directed towards their respective accounts.

So please tell me how should I approach to set up the website? Please guide me from selection of web host to the actual running up of the website.

Any comments-good or bad are welcomed!:(

    Warm Regards,
    ssssaurabh

this isnt that hard...and can be done with PHP/mySQL...and you wouldnt need a dedicated server. a regular shared hosting is fine if you dont get to much traffic as in million of visitors a day....

im a php/mysql coder so if you need any help setting up...pm me

as jacksonnguyendmd said it can be done simply...

All you need is a reasonable shared hosting account, I recommend you check out limitlesshosting.net for hosting.

They have the best support imaginable (will edit server settings for you), so if you need help they wont ignore you. Also wont kick you off because you are using to much of there resources.

lol, simple Mediawiki installtiong would fit good here (ever without spending 10 hours on customizing login forms and access verification mechanics).

    Hello friends!
I am very thankfull to all of you for such a quick and useful response. I am aware that this isnt that complex but the thing is that I dont know how to handle this, so its complex for me.

I heard some new words here - Mediawiki, teamplayer and microsoft project. Can anyone explain a bit about them?? Many friends told me Joomla and Drupal will be good...what you guys think about this??

Hey jackson, I will surely need some help from you if I am unable to do it... salute to your helping attitude.

@Blood08: I am checking the hosting service..never heard of ..lets see. I am serious about the website so will go with the paid hosting.

@SarKoy: Great questions! I want to make to optimal in every way.. so Im seeking answers to both the questions.. you have any suggessions?
