i already wasted about $2000 this year buying scripts hoping that i could make my website a success! no matter what i buy being programmer myself none of the scripts satisfy my expectations. From that day onwards i decided to make my own scripts myself and not to buy anything :)

Wasted - $500 (spent web design to some company)
Wasted - $1200 (buying 3-4 scripts like social network, etcc...)
Wasted - $300 (buying unnecessary hosting to learn linux)

how can i recover my money? At the end of the day, all my websites failed and its a disappointment!

wowwww $2000 is a lot to a fellow like me.
Sorry to see it happen, and I hope you earn it back.

As for recovering it, make the same sort of scripts you bought, BETTER THEM, and sell them to people like yourself :)

    sounds foolish? isnt it?
i started my sites with my own scripts, but nowadays i am not working hard hoping that somebody would do it for me. But it didnt work that way. It is a strange disorder in me, satisfied only with my own work and not work done by others. i dont know how to explain.

Well, nobody knows better than you on what you expect to see in a script. I feel the same way about hosting, I'll always host myself, no other host will be "good" enough.

Well, it takes money to make money... use this as a learning experience. Plus I doubt everything mentioned was a "waste".

At a certain point you may have to accept less then perfection. You can always work hard to achieve improvements in your scripts that will help you obtain a level of satisfaction you find acceptable.

I am sorry for your losses. I can only hope after learning from this it will help you to refocus on a profitable venture.

Try Open Source for your web sites: Joomla, WordPress, etc. and just modify the code to your needs.

My rule is to never spend more money than I make online, that way I can never be at a lose. Never buy expensive scripts or hosting unless you really know your stuff. At the very least you learned something.

There are so many free scripts available , why did you need paid scripts.
Use this loss as an experience and don't lose heart.

if you want something done right, do it yourself.

it's normal, being a programmer myself, I do buy some scripts. But I don't endorse buying pirated unlicensed scripts.

I do gamble or invest money which I can afford to lose.

here on DP not many people are willing to talk about their failure.
i don't think it foolish at all. what doesn't kill you make you stronger I guess.
