Whose side are u on? The advertisers or the publishers? I'm on the side of the publishers since I am one. The advertisers don't care about us. We should stick together. Give the guy a chance. Maybe he doesn't realize he is breaking TOS. If he is a 18 year old kid who just wants to put the ads on his site to make money to pay his hosting. Most kids don't read the fine print. Snitching is not cool. Shoot the guy an email and if he responds sarcastically or blows you off then report im.

i am both publisher and advertiser and i dont think we have to pick sides here. click fraud should be concern for all of us, cause with so much of it going around, high paying advertisers will just stop advertising on content network, or lower rates, and then we all loose.

I don't think the posters are complaining about the ad placement in the path of another post, SaN-DeeP, I have that on one of my forums as well. the main point of this thread is the way the webmaster is labeling the adsense ads - clearly asking them to click the ads or at least bringing undue attention to them - that is a clear TOS violation

Dude, I am both a publisher and an advertiser.
If you think advertisers do not care about publishers then, not only you are utterly wrong but a damn selfish too.
every single dime you earn from adsense or any other ad program, comes from advertiser's pocket.
I spend my hard earn money on the advertising my stuffs, I'd not like to see that my money is going to some careless 18 years old kid who gives a damn to reading the fucking TOS and the program policy.
As a publisher, I play fair and safe, I spend my time to learn fair tricks, emailing google whenever in doubt, and reading every single TOS and policy change.

And you know what, these lame TOS violaters cause many other innocent webmaster getting banned, why? Because teams at Google are too busy tracking these lamers down.
Dont violate TOS, respect the policy, read the fucking manual, and the world will be a better place for both you and me as well as the Google.

    Good luck.

I will throw in my experience on this one. In the past when I have seen people making mistakes like this I have contacted them and told them they are breaking the TOS. What happened? in 99.9% of the cases it resulted in abuse, one guy even bombarded my email account with viruses and every trojan known to man.

Sorry, but it IS our duty to report wrong doing, in the same way we should report sites that are spamming. If you cheat, you deserve to be reported, plain and simple. Google actively solicit the support of webmasters to report bad procedures that are going on. FAR from costing money, it does in fact SAVE money.

'Or try this' is not IMO going to result in a ban, as it is not really encouraging people to click on an ad, but it IS drawing attention to the ad, which is against the TOS, in a minor way.

I know there are people who think that doing nothing is acceptable, in fact, as has been demonstrated in this thread, there are people who will aggresively react to people who report others. Reporting sites is what Google AND advertisers want and deserve however.

Do you see why a woman would be better at running this country? Men always choose war over diplomacy.
