    Which is the Best version of Mozilla Firefox?

    There are various old versions and new version 3 launched recently, So, which is better as i read somewhere that new version is not so good?

    I'm now using 3.0.1 and I can tell you that the latest version doesn't live to its expectation of being faster. I still prefer the older version which I use previously 2.0.0.6

    2 if you want all the extentions to work. 3 if you want it to be faster and most of the (good) extentions to work.

    3.0.1 is good as they said abt the address bar.. although I'm not getting my favorite FF Theme on FF3 :( MacFox :eek:

    Good on you :)

    I use Opera for all my normal browsing, usually FF3 for webmastering stuff (a lot of things arn't supported in Opera, for example toolbars and extentions that I need).

    the new version is awesome, especially with certain addons. the only whack thing is the fact that 1-click bookmarks doesn't go straight into bookmarks menu. it goes into unsorted bookmarks which is absolutely absurd. and the fact that you cannot access unsorted bookmarks through the bookmarks menu is just madness. i seriously cannot understand why ff did this.

    I have 2.0.0.14, and I hate it sometimes. It hangs terribly when you've been on awhile, and has to be shut down. Have they fixed the hanging problem in 3.01? I'd like to try it, but if it's worse than this one, I'm not gonna, unless I put it into a separate directory, like I did when I had 1.5 and 2.0 was sucky.

    I absolutely hate v3 and the url bar, I even installed Oldbar, but still didn't like it. I used it for a couple of weeks and went back to 2x.
