    I'm kind've new to selling and buying domains and I'm a bit unsure how it'll work out. I've got a domain which I'm considering to sell, it's registered with hostsmart, I've got hosting with it as well. So how do I sell it.. do they give me the money and then I give them the hosting details (user and password).. or some other method?

    I'm sorry if this seems really basic, but I don't want to sell my domain and have no clue on what I'm doing..

    When somebody buys your domain name, ask them if they want to transfer it to a new service provider. It they want to, you give them a unique transfer code (ask your domain service provider for that) which will enable them to transfer the domain name to any domain name provider. Hope this helps.
