I'm kind've new to selling and buying domains and I'm a bit unsure how it'll work out. I've got a domain which I'm considering to sell, it's registered with hostsmart, I've got hosting with it as well. So how do I sell it.. do they give me the money and then I give them the hosting details (user and password).. or some other method? I'm sorry if this seems really basic, but I don't want to sell my domain and have no clue on what I'm doing.. All help appreciated, Kind regards, Joel.
When somebody buys your domain name, ask them if they want to transfer it to a new service provider. It they want to, you give them a unique transfer code (ask your domain service provider for that) which will enable them to transfer the domain name to any domain name provider. Hope this helps.
