    Joomla

    Pros

    • Does not give readers the feel of a blog
    • Allows for people to view a site as static, with some changing content, rather than continually changing content
    • Has nice layouts for recent news, most popular articles
    • Allows for complete customization

    Cons

    • The backend is a little hard to get used to. It will take awhile to learn how to navigate through the administration and add things.
    • Still a CMS
    • Unique layouts are going to be a little harder to find

Or use ThemeDreamer and then you can edit your WordPress theme in Dreamweaver. You get the best of both worlds: an easy to use CMS and the WYSIWYG editing power of Dreamweaver.

it's amazing what wordpress can do. i learn something new all the time about their features. i might have to look into more and maybe use it myself instead of using other web design softwares.

Apples and Oranges, I like to use both at once ;) DreamWeaver is a WYSIWYG editor.
