I have just created a new Free Directory.

Please feel free to submit your quality links. No adult sites.

All links are manually reviewed so I will reject any that do not follow the guidelines. Links will be approved as quickly as possible.

Featured links are $5 each.

Sorry, I am not sure why that was set like that unless it came from the template I loaded. I tested before I changed the template.

Thanks for all that have listed. If this is your first time listing in a directory, please find the appropriate category. Top level category submissions will be deleted unless there are no other choice. For example, if you own a directory and you charge a fee, it is a paid directory. If it offers free submission, it is a free directory.

Also, any sites that are listed as something they are not, they will be deleted. I had four desktop wallpaper sites that were submitted and when I went to the site, they were shopping sites and nothing to do with wallpapers.

Proxy owner, I have added proxies to the Computer/Internet section as for a request, please submit yours to that category only.

I am sorting through the links and correcting what I can but there hundreds of links so I am approving as quick as I can.

I am using the free version of phpld so I do not have that options.

I am still getting tons of submissions that are in the wrong category. I have seven hundred categories to try and fit all types of sites. Please take the few extra seconds to look for the right category for your site. I have been changing as many as I can but I am getting 200+ a day and I manually look through them.

From this point on, if it is a wrong category or submitted to a top level when there are subcategories, you link will be deleted. For example, there are all kinds of subcategories for blogs or web directories. They do not belong on the top level.

I am also deleting deep links (inner page) submission as per the guidelines. Also as per the guidelines, all sites must be in English. I deleted 47 sites today in Arabic. Becaue of this, I am thinking of switching to all paid.

In answer to a question asked in PM, all featured links are $5 for a year. I will accept a max of ten per category.

I am offering advertising on the Sponsor section and I am willing to discuss rates through PM.

Just a heads up, one of your guidelines is:
We do not accept inside pages (deep links) of your website to be listed except for featured links. It must be a top level domain or subdomain

In your latest links you have a regular listing that is a deeplink:
hxxp://www.precisehydraulic.com/hydraulic-power-packs.htm

The worst thing about this listing isn't the deep-link. It's the description. it is just a string of keywords designed to spam the keyword hydraulic

That should've been a pretty easy rejection. I'd suggest you be more vigilant in keeping the bad listings out.

Thanks for pointing that out! I am trying to catch them but the yes get heavy with so much at one time. I must have hit the worng button on that one. i did notice it but I guess I hit approved instead.

It is sad that the bad ones make up 50% of the submissions.
