I used to be a fan of IE but then when they changed the whole design and started copying firefox.. then it all went bad from there. Now it is extremely slow loading up and is not that secure... firefox is better in all departments. I would changed my mind if they brought old IE with better security and features like FF.

FF3 does take a long to load up.. but IE7 has too many holes and it crashes all the time for me.. I am looking forward to IE8 soon to be released.

Ever since I started using Firefox, I have noticed a huge difference in speed. For me, it is hands down faster and better than IE.:D

Firefox 3 is MUCH faster than 2 on both mac an pc. It also uses less memory than version 2.XX.

I personally use Firefox 3. As previously mentioned the difference in rendering speed between the two browsers is very minimal it's the latency which is the problem, and the latency has nothing to do with whichever browser you are using.

Who ever said. Internet Explorer is smoking something! FireFox 3 smashes any stupid IE ever made! It is faster and images look better and more clear, ans Safari is a good wed browser also!

I dont mind FF loading couple of seconds slower for me.. The functionality which it provides is surely worth the wait..

IE sucked, it sucks and it will always suck!! ;) No offense !

Any FireFox versions are far-far-far more faster than IE. I only use IE while checking my CSS code, yes...unfortunately all web developer "still" have to take care of IE these days, that shows you how "stupid" IE is :)
