    How do I go about pinging using PHP? can anybody point me to the actual code? I want to ping sites like ping-o-matic when new articles are posted on my site.

    So you want to Ping a website to make sure that the website server is running ok.

    Is this to validate Websites or something??

    And Gurartap, whats up with the bumps???, this aint the first one I have seen.

    onlyican.com, that's not what I'm talking about, i'm talking about blog-like pinging. I found some info here: http://www.technorati.com/developers/ping/ but I want to figure out how to incorporate and use it with PHP.
