Hot please do not buy any email list . It is easy enough with a little work to create your own . I have a huge list from me selling traffic on ebay . Yes list = traffic . I just send out a message hey big sale to valued customers today blah blah blah . They come running . If you have that type of service or sell something ebay is great to start a list . Customers know your product . They know you so odds are they will buy from you again . You buy a list . Customers do not know you . They do not trust you . Chances are you will not get any sales you will loose money and may get in trouble for spam .
I've never advertised through solo ads but I've received plenty of them in my email. Your response rate also depends on the ethics of the person who built up the list. If the email marketer constantly sends people on their list FREE and useful information and your product or service is related to their list then you should get a pretty good response rate. However, lots of people know how to build up a list but they don't know how to properly market to their subscribers. A common technique that some people use is to bombard their subscribers with tons and tons of useless offers.
I would be afraid to get my sites blacklisted if sending out such email. Not just that, its illegal too so its just NO NO
Buying a list can indeed be dodgy. Some services offer to create opt in lists for you, but the response of many of these are poor (perhaps one in five of the emails they provide will actually be responsive - on a good day). Email marketing actually can be very good - when you consider that it takes seven points of contact for the average person to feel comfortable buying from you, an opt in list affords you the opportunity to get to that 7th point of contact. Plus, unless you're publishing absolute dross it's a good way of establishing your expertise and branding yourself positively with your subscribers.
if you are doing business, pls never do it...your site will get banned sooner or later....And normally email list will be useless except the lins coming from your own subcribers who subscribe to your site..
you can bring traffic with that but what can I say about that i dunno cause Its spamming and not legal.
