Wikipedia Calls Your Website A Spam Link

    One of the websites we are developing was listed in the Spam List of Wikipedia. How can we remove it? Who should be contacted?

    You will need to ask them directly under the discussion page of the Wiki. If you are on the spam list its going to be difficult to have it removed.

    The moderators at wikipedia are mostly over zealous noobs. Dont worry about it.

    Just sign up for a wikipedia account and edit the article. If someone says anything, just dispute it in the talk section. Most of the moderators at wikipedia have GOD mode turned on, or at least they think they are the next best thing to GOD. Keep this in mind when dealing with them.

    I learned a long time ago not to get involved with the wikipedia drama queens.

    In the past, we made a mistake of putting few links in related articles. But to our surprise, the site was placed in spam link. Yet our site has high PR and favored by Google.

    It's just annoying to see your site in the spam list of Wikipedia.

    Thank God. There is Knol.
