What should be the age of a boy and a girl when they get married ?

i just want to the suggestions about all the people here

what would u suggest from your point of view
what should be the age of a boy and a girl when they get ready for marraige


lets start from me


boy - 24
girl - 21

 

I see no specific time, only once they are ready to hold this responsibility

 

Here's my thought's:

Girl 35
Boy 30

Girls are always more mature and boys really need someone mature by their side

 

When they feel at a responcible age and love each other.

 

you are seeing the maturity by age ...

If both boy and girl are matured in the thoughts and mind they can marry any time...

 

Hmmm... I'm a men and I'm married almost 2y ago when I was 22...
I was ready for that big step ;-)

Yes, I agree, Boys:21 and Girls:18, that's legal ages in getting married...

 

Both when they're over 40. It annoys me how people throw away their lives at a young age to start a family, only to end up alone, broke and divorced a few years later.

 

Boys and Girls should not get married!!!

Is there an ideal age for that? I do not think so.

 

Male 16, Female 16 - that's the legal ages here in the UK.

Legalities aside I think when they're financially secure enough to enter into the commitment.

 

In my opinion, age doesn't matter (after 18 of course) as long as they are both responsible enough and love each other. And by that I mean really love each other, not just physical attachment.

 

Old enough to realize the responsibilities of marriage.

If everyone married when they were forty and up, they probably wouldn't end up having kids, or if they did they would be in their fifties when they're kids are still really young.

 

Agreed, no specific time or age. Depends on their life, where they are headed, and how responsible they are. I think it is wise to wait until after you get out of college to get married, but this isn't always the case.

 

great point! there's no ideal age in getting married it's when they are ready to be an ideal couple.

 

It depends on country and culture.
In our area girls get married by 20 to 23
and boys by 25 to 27

and I too support this.

 

I think both should be at least 25+ before they get married. 99% of my boyfriend's friends got married at about 20-21 and are all divorced now. Pretty sad to be divorced before the age of 23. Almost all the people I know that waited until 25+ are still together and doing very well.

Age does not always mean maturity, but most people are financially secure, out of college, and ready for the responsibility of marriage at that age....
