IE or Firefox? which loads faster?

I love firefox but when comes to loading fast, it cant beat IE.
do you agree?

When firefox developers are going to make FF load faster than IE?

I like FF because it has a LOT of important features that I use day by day. It makes my life easier

 

Firefox is much better than IE 5 6 OR 7 hands down, not to mention all the security bugs in IE, Drive by downloads, IE also kills memory resources.

IE is proven to be incredibly safer and more efficient than Firefox, which is not a target of malicious attacks because so few internet viewers use it. Firefox takes forever to load and then pages load slower - that's a proven fact, with many pages not rendering correctly. Don't believe the iHaters anti-MS propoganda. It might be "cool" to bash MS products, but facts are facts. IE for me and 93% of all other surfers!

FireFox 3. Its functionality unrivaled.

I really don't like FireFox 3 now, I believe the newest version of FireFox (3) is really slow.

I will still say FireFox however, Internet Explorer is terrible and a big slow mess.

 

in my end its firefox...love it!

 

FF3 is supposedly faster there are a few tests out there which will tell you exactly which one is better best option just Google it.

 

Speed really depends on your Internet bandwidth... ) Not much on the browsers these days.

 

Ah.ff 3 has many bug,always dc and close automaticaly.now i use opera

 

I think firefox 3 is faster than IE any day of the week.... with Google gears in it.... who can complain!!

 

Not sure which one is faster and personally I'm not personally fazed by it.

Arachne DOS web browser is my personal favourite cause it's DOS based, graphical & small (a copy of it fits on 1.44Mb Floppy Disk easily). WinXP I feel should have an Web Browser like this written completely in Assembly so it's small. Arachne was quick as well & on my 386 running at 16Mhz with 4Mb I found it was the MODEM working overtime slowing things down & unfortunately never upgraded, though it would have been faster than Windows, you'd never get a machine like that in the first place running a Web browser properly and the only decent web browser for OS/2 Warp which was Netscape Navigator v2.02 needed a 486 processor with some memory to run it properly.

 

Till IE 6, FF was far superior & early bird but since IE 7 has come I can do all stuffs in IE7 & hence I dont feel the need to download *extra* browser.

FF is cool I used to have it on my linux.
But for windows I use IE7. no probs with me

 

For me, Firefox 3 is better and faster than all IE. and I familiarize it.
