Anyone know of a good php search script?

I need a php search script for my site.

I'm looking for something easy to implement with my existing mysql database.

I've checked hotscripts and google, but I haven't found anything I liked.

Can anyone recommend a good search script?

If you are interested in a really professional search script, you can google "Sphinx Search".
(sorry i cant give links, im a newbie)

 

Sphinx search looks good. I think I'm going to try to implement that.

Sphinx is great. We use it on our autos site EasyAutoSales (link in sig) and it pulls results from millions of vehicles instantly. We're technically show results faster than AutoTrader and CarsDirect.

 

What functionalities do you prefer ideallyl?

 

@ambrish - I just want it to search my own mysql database. Can smartppc do that?

@jsoft - I want it to be able to search my database and return the most relevant results.

thatz an easy task.there are plenty of scripts available for free on net,
