@jackburton, I think I've read every reply you've made in these forums trying to learn from your experiences, if only I could see some of your sites to try and learn from them - nudge nudge

I also disagree with this. I have programmed entire sites in php/sql/... all in notepad on my Windows 3.1 enhanced 386 portable computer. How do you possibly thing Yahoo! was created in the 1990's? Not to be mean, just my opinion.

I would add, as last note, that you will start making money if you will see all of this as a passion, a hobby. You will do it better and better if you don't look at money as your first aim. Money will just follow to flow in your account; you just need to put all you can in quality, quality, quality content. That's it!

Sorry, have to disagree with this.

if you can show a "noob" a step-by-step process that they can follow, and they actually follow it, then they will be successful at Adsense.

There, you have just said exactly why a "noob" can be successful.

Being successful with Adsense is just common sense. You don't have to be a rocket scientist - just follow a few simple rules - the same simple rules that make any website successful.

Yes, noob can be successful ... AFTER he is no longer a noob. This is how it works. We all were once new to AdSense. Some figured out how it works and how to profit, others didn't. AFTER you started making money, you are no longer a noob. The BIG problem is that some noobs can't figure out how to make it work, even though they read all the right forums and do all the right things.
