pr3 at night, pr0 in the morning

    Hi, two of my pr3 sites drop to pr0 this morning. both of them have quality backlinks and unique content. one of them is an education site, the other is knitting. especially education one is on top in google searches at the target word. knitting site was pr4 and drop pr3 at the last update. but this morning to pr0. I don't sell links. what do you think, what is the problem?

    Probably a change in the algo or your backlinks have lost some of their PR which means less is being passed on to you. Either that or the PR is not displaying correctly.

    I have checked from different websites. All of them show pr0 for both sites, so does google toolbar. What changed from night to morning, I try to understand that...

    Kayibey: Don't panic till you get traffic from Google. One of my friend's site was a PR 4 before the upgrade, after the upgrade it became PR 2, and he recieves 500-700 visitors per day from Google. PR is not that important nowadays, keep on creating unique content and building backlinks to your pages. Traffic matters, as visitors can be converted into buyers, PR is only important if you sell backlinks.

    why there is always someone keep saying that on every post about PR? off course everyone knows that PR doesn't equate to traffic (though in theory it does) or SERP placement, but does that mean that PR is not important? probably not but would you rather have PR 5 page than PR 0 page? absolutely

    regarding the importance of PR is still the way it was when it was invented....

    Honestly, I can give a crap about PR when my site makes money. Your question inverted: Would you rather have a PR 0 site that makes $1500/month or a PR 5 site that makes $500/month?

    I explain something different than pr update. As I said my websites pr was updated from 4 to 3 2 days ago. but after that update this morning it drop to pr0. And I want to learn why, that's all..
