That's not really what I said. And I don't necessarily believe that we are better at any one particular point in time. But I do believe that the US experiment was a progression, and yes, an improvement on principles that had been thought of in Europe by Europeans who had new ideas and a new slate on which to try them in the American colonies. Their experiment, because it was successful, proved that certain ideals and principles could work in application, not just in theory, and this had huge influence on the world.
I know you think it is arrogance for me to think this because you probably hate our current foreign policy and our current President. But our system was designed so that the control of our leaders(and I do believe bush is a crappy one overall) would not be unlimited, in scope or in time. When the US was created I don't think there was a country in the world where this was true. Now it is mostly true in the western world. There are a lot liberties that much of the western world takes for granted today that didn't really exist at the time right before the US was created. Europeans had brilliant ideas, applied them in a foreign country that they built from scratch, and then the Europeans that stayed behind in Europe borrowed the ideas that were proven to work.

It's awesome how you just glided over that entire post in order to pick out a sentence you could reply to using another childish anti-american stereotype.

Is it about 70% like it is in the NFL? ( I was wrong when I said 80%)
I bet it's about 70% northern European descent.

How many people in professional rugby can run 4.3 40 yard dashes? There are alot in the NFL. How many rugby players can bench press more than 600 pounds?

I know what you are trying to say, and I agree with some of it.

The USA was intended to be an experiment in trying to revive the Atlantean concept of the ideal civilisation. The experiment was conducted by us, the British, and was masterminded by Sir Francis Bacon. The ideals upon which the US constitution were based were strongly influenced by Rosicrucian and Freemasonic ideals. In fact, many strongly believe that the USA is still ultimately British, given our clandestine influences on American affairs.

However, it is wrong of you to claim to be progressive now that the whole western world virtually lives by the same ideals. It is especially wrong of you to claim to be progressive when the very ideals which you claim facilitated the progression were borne of us.

Come to think of it, I'm starting to hate this 'you' and 'us' shit! You are us, just over there. You are part of the legacy of the British Empire. The two world wars bankrupted the British Empire, leaving the way open for a new power. The USA was the most suited to take the 'Top Spot', given its similarities to the British Empire. (Either that or it was all a part of Bacon's major plan to see the rise of the new Atlantis.) Whatever the case, the American Empire was born. And, yes, you are an empire, just like the very one you fought against in the beginning, of the type you say that you are totally against!

I think a lot of British have been missing this point lately. In many ways we are Britain 2.0.

although i wouldn't be too happy about it being an empire, if you actually go through history, you'll find a pattern in all empires, and that is their downfall. Even us, Spain was the same, not to mention Britain, but maybe history will be different?

Oh I don't think so sunshine. Please don't flatter yourself.

What I'm reading from you is a load of tossed out opinions that are so absurd, they border on absolute sheer chutzpah. Nothing more and certainly nothing less.

If you came out with a lot of your opinions on the street over here, you'd have your head caved in, in about two seconds flat, and that's a fact.

Talk about ignorance and sheer arrogance along with a bountiful handful of utter stupidity going hand in hand, with a lot of your comments, it's staggering that individuals like you still exist.

It's difficult to imagine that fewer than 5 generations have passed since they had a civil war to wipe out shit like him :(

And even fewer have passed since a war in Europe wiped out that other bunch of flag-saluting maniacs who, like our friend here, spoke of racial experiments and superior nations.

There you go again with that superiority bullshit.

LogicFlux, the act of proclaiming superiority contradicts the very statement. In other words, someone who genuinely was better than someone else would never have to express it, or at least would know better than to actually do so. All you're doing is embarrassing yourself.

How many liberal democracies existed in the world in 1776? How many monarchies existed in Europe? How many, respectively, existed 50 years later, 100 years later, today? If you claim it is a coincidence and has nothing to do with the creation of the USA then it is you who's thoughts are clouded by a feeling of superiority or maybe just hatred.

Dude, you're weird, not to mention conceded and ignorant. I don't want to chat to you any more.
