Best way to copy 8 Gig file in cpanel server??

    Could you please tell me the best way of copying an 8 Gig file on a cpanel server.

    I would be very greatful for the help.

    well ftp should work fine i think :confused:

    btw just look the hosting restriction because some host restrict size of file ;)

    Find a superfast connection anc use FTP or ssh access to download or copy the file. A backup will compress files. You may also want to lookup file compression-- zip or some other file archive.

    Im trying to copy the file to use on another site on the same hosting account.

    if both sites are in same hosting plan then

    i think you can get ssh login and make a link to that file or copy the file :cool:

    no need to pay for typing 4-5 command lines :D
