Scripts?

    Hi,
I was thinking of buying a script, and was wondering that say I bought that script once for $200, if I wanted to use it on unlimited sites, could I???
Or does it all depend on the company I get the script from?
    Or what?
    Thanks in advance,
    Simon

Yeah, I thought that, but I'm not 100% certain, so I thought I'd ask here for a confirmation...
...Any advances on 'pretty sure' ;) lol

It depends on the company. Some sell you the script as the script, some license per domain(s). The licensing is much more common nowadays due to the ease of software piracy and illegal distribution etc. A lot of the turnkey scripts can be used unlimited times and are hence much cheaper but they are all over the place and don't hold as much value as a good licensed script.

    Hope that helps!

Basically, scripts produced for the masses. They become like a shared, dirty and tired magazine as they are passed around, sold and resold until everyone has it. The scripts can be quite good, they just arn't unique after a few weeks on the net. A lot of them tend to be clones of other popular website, like facebook or youtube.. but I never really understood the appeal in full as you're essentially competing with the original.. and you go no chance unless you make it different!
