    If there's contextual advertising in the same encyclopedia, I don't know how reliable the content can be

    I think Google Knol will grow every quickly. Not sure about the quality of content that we will see in Knol. I hope Google's Knol will be a success.

    If you're trying to obtain expert status on a subject, Knol is a great way to start. Most of the subjects are already taken on Wikipedia, so you'd have a nice foot-in-the-door with Knol. That's how I'm planning on using it.

    Sorry to flag up an old thread, but not impressed with this site at all. Everything Google touches usually turns to gold, but that aint the case here. Wiki will not be beaten as an encyclopedia.
