Haven't lost any on established sites but haven't gained any either. Few new sites I've launched recently are in and around 1 to 2. Overall a bit of an anticlimax.

I had recently release my forum... and its PR is zero...... so can any one help me out in increasing my Forum's PR???

If at all pr is important for you then hire services like commenting on do follow pr blogs, buy high pr links, do dir submissions and find out do follow social bookmarking sites.

You know you pasted complete article here and now on Google, Your original article will not appear as Google will treat it as duplicate. If you know about Google and his search algorithm. Never copy your complete post to any other website. Just a quick note. You can leave your link here and let everyone read from your blog.

 

I never copy anything, I sat down for around 20 min. and wrote it down.
you can do a copyscape on it, if you still have doubt.

 

You should only concentrate building good and unique contents. If you wil provide something unique and good quality contents, everyone would like to link back to you and as more and more backlinks, better your PR will be.

Ohh, you took me wrong. I am saying you copied your original article here on DP. Which is not good for the SERP of your own website.

 

Hmm, on his official blog Matt Cutts from Google said that "we’ll be expiring some older penalties on websites" but did not give more details. Did anyone notice maybe an own website which was penalized and now started to rank highly or much better again?

Quality content on your forum can result to a lot of backlinks. For example many DP members link to DP from their blogs to interesting threads.

 

excellent point to remember. google indexes pages from dp as it has high pagerank also.

 

Build more high quality backlinks.Do what you can to improve your website.

Although there is no content, but I could get so many backlinks by leaving comments in blog or link building in some directories. Of course my backlinks get increased. Why the PR will go to zero ?

 

wohoo my site (adult dating site) has pagerank 1! just started it a month ago..
my blog (just started 15 days ago) pagerank 0



edit- i see that only the "intro" page is pr1, the index is still pr0 :|
