alternative to copyscape?

Discussion in 'General Chat' started by Buhawi, Jul 26, 2008.

    Hi all!

Do you know of any alternative to Copyscape as a plagiarism detection tool that is free to use?

I have tried Article Checker but it doesn't come close. Content can come out clean with Article Checker but consequently have issues when checked with Copyscape.

Any recommendations that come close to Copyscape that are free?

Thanks in advance for your feedback! :)

Well you can use BitScan which allow a 30-day trial work before they charged! So take a look at their website:

Copyscape seems to be a great service and inexpensive. What type of issues are you having? Is it detecting plagiarism?

I tried many ways to find duplicate site content. I didn't check copyscape's premium service. I think this is better

I have seen many alternatives to copyscape proposed on this site, but I haven't found an alternative that will let you import your site URLs (say you have a blog with 200 posts - obviously, cutting and pasting text from each one isn't going to work). Are there any reasonably-priced batch search alternatives to copyscape out there?

After Yahoo doesn't longer offer the free API, it looks like that all "free" sites and tools doenst work.

Did anyone have a alternative site/tool?
