What do we need to succeed with our Google Adsense Ads? Right; Intel! As much as possible! We need to know what people search for, so we can act accordingly. When we know what the masses are searching for, we know what articles to write and Google will place the right Adsense ads on our website.

Now, what we all wished for since years, was to see what's behind the little green bars on the Google Adwords Keyword Tool, has come true since about two weeks! While Google is still hiding the number of advertisers (who could blame them) you can now see the approx. number of searches for a certain keyword or keyphrase during the previous and during this month. The numbers of the present month are estimated by Google.
Well, if there is still a webmaster out there, who doesn't' use the Google Keyword Tool; now might be a good time to check it out!
To use the Google Adwords Keyword Tool you need to make an Adwords account with Google.

Ok, my mistake - thanks for the correction, that's even better.
But i think since it is an https url that the user must be logged in anyway.

The Google Traffic Estimator Tool is also a nice tool. Thanks for mentioning it here Loco M. Some numbers though contradict with the Google Keyword Tool. It's a bit of a balance act i guess and using both tools certainly helps to get a clearer picture.

I use the Google KW Tool exclusively now for research since they are now showing approx search volume.
