Hello All! I'm right now using Windows Vista Basic edition on my laptop. But from the last few days, I'm regularly getting update notice that I should go for "windows vista service pack 1" update. Should I really update to windows vista service pack 1? How is it? Could anybody provide their suggestions based on the experience. Thanx in advance. Cheers, Markov
Hello I did the installation for Vista SP1 - it is a monster, takes a long time to download/install, as it is a lot of updates. I have nothing negative to say about it. I really don't know what it has added. I always - always install the updates they send. Sorry not to be of more help.
Anything would be an improvement. I cant say though cause I dont use it. I heard there has been too many problems.
I did see that ...but I do want to know the experience of the forum members before installing the new update.
It's still the same thing for me. I didn't see much different. The reason I upgrade to service pack 1 because I change my Vista into OSX Leopard LoL
I have had a wonderful experience with Vista and installing Vista SP1 did not make a noticable difference. Don't let the iHaters "educate" you about Vista. It's been great for me and everyone I know!
well that OS is compatible to your computer if you have high storage disk so that it will run fast if not..of course it will run slow..
Is there any difficulty in updating to Vista Service Pack -1? Should I take the back up of the present Vista or can I directly upgrade to VSP-1? I do have 256 kbps internet connection ...how much time it would take to update to VSP-1.
Uhm yeah update your software, are you stupid? SP1 really stabilizes Windows Vista operating system and secures it a helluva lot.
