Thread colors (light & dark greens)

I come here a few times a day, click on "New Posts" and scan down the page for threads that look interesting.

I discovered today that I seem my mind seems to ignore the threads that are light green (the one's I've alread read in the past?) and only focuses on the dark green ones. I got to the end of the new thread list and was surprised that there were so few... Then I saw that there were 6 pages so I had to start over and concentrate on looking at the light green ones.

Anybody else have this issue? Or is my mind just messed up?

Light = Threads YOU'VE looked at.

Dark = Threads YOU'VE never opened.

Right. What I'm saying is that my brain is either way ahead of my eyes and is ignoring the threads I've already looked at without notifying my eyes, or it's instructing my eyes to ignore those threads because of the color. Whatever's happening in my head, I don't see the light green threads unless I'm specifically looking for them.

LOL... No drinks tonight, Rob. And mia, I'm not color blind.

Maybe I'm just used to looking for threads that are all the same color? If I've read them recently (on other sites), they go from bold to normal, here they go from dark green to light green. Maybe I'm just used to that? I dunno.

I guess this doesn't happen to anyone else, then?

    Maybe you're a low-literacy internet user.

    j/k, Mikel!

So when I (or anyone) rep you, you don't necessarily know which colour it is?

That's why red's always on the top or left depending on where you are in the US.
