So content is king?

I want to make some information websites so I can get an adsense account.


My question is should I make a website with many different topics or should I just create a bunch of websites with one topic?

 

I'm not sure if there is a right or wrong answer here. I personally like to create more sites and really focus on a certain niche for each site.

 

I think you've misunderstood the meaning of "content is king". You want to create content that is unique, the topic really doesn't matter, however you want to make content that many people will enjoy, traffic = $$$.

 

Content IS king, but make sure that it's fresh updated content, and it will do the best.

 

Personally, i make a website that is not broad nor narrow enough so that i will not run out of topic, besides, adsense will not be confuse what ads to show on your website (if you are planning to put adsense there!)

 

If you just want to get an Adsense account, create a single blogger account or use Wordpress and make 5-10 posts. Apply to Adsense and you will be approved if everything looks clean. Then you can place Adsense on your other sites as you develop them.

u shouldn't create a website with different topics cos it will drive your readers away. they wouldn't know what your site is about.

Personally, I think the content should be ordered by the topics. It is better to make different sites, if you have enough amount of articles for every of them. It is pointless to make new site for a few posts.

I started my site with one general topic.. after about 9 months, i began to expand the subject-matter and topics, but they all have the same "slant" (niche.. figure that one out) .. So now it's a multi-topic site & forum that generated $80k (PROFIT) last year.. so for me, i would say that if you do it right, MORE is better..

 

It doesnt matter how much websites you have. Whichever website, you possess, write as much as possible - UNIQUE write-ups and so on to get more traffic.

 

You can create site on any topic. You just have to add unique content and then get traffic for your site in order to start generating some income.

Pick a topic that you have an interest in, write some unique, fresh articles, create a website, and start promoting your idea. Keep writing and writing and writing and writing ... it works. Until I found this site, it was a struggle to build traffic, sustain traffic and make any true money off my sites, other than the ones that just seemed to explode in the niche I was in.

However, after reading, learning, and taking some sound advice off this forum, several of my other sites that weren't doing so well for me are now generating $$$$, I won't quit my day job off those sites, but it is a nice cheque from Google each month!

 

If you want to be successful in long term better create something about a niche you like. Otherwise you'll get bored...

1- The content must be legal (you create it) not copy paste content
2- Also should be renew your content
3- Adding Comments
4- Using Digg

 

Yeah, AdSense also allows Blogspot URLS for them Content is King and yeah

Content + Traffic + Brains = $$$$$
