Website is more superior than Blog, but why blog gets listed so fast on SE

Personally I dont like Blog, it is more like a newbie dairy who dont want to learn html first to create website. Why should they use blog to express their opinion if they can use geocities/tripod which have ever been the first newbie place to create their website. Blog format is ugly just only text with advertising. These blog and its derivates wordpress, joomla are for the lazy persons not creative persons, but it's ok if some people really headache/confuse about html and its format but want to write something although geocities/tripod and many other free hosting provide also many tools to make their life easier. The big question is why google list these ugly blogs very fast, looks like some hidden motive behind it.

 

i think you havent visit johnchow.com and shoemoney.com people making money without html knowledge and its passion.

 

Actually, google likes the original ones.

 

Simple answer is that Wordpress has a ping feature built in which helps posts get indexed a whole lot faster than regular websites.

 

How could be original if the blog template always the same with other millions blogs worldwide, really boring template. Yeah google only looks for text not nuance template of websites because their founders are left brain mathematician not artist who also looks for nuance and format/template. I miss the old days when blog, wordpress and joomla were not around and people are very creative with their website content and template with many animating images, sounds not just write with standard ugly text blog format. Google is just like robot only can think to search without feel of website's nuance. Maybe next better search engine also could search for the best appeared good looking websites not just content. If you want content then just write text with WYSYWIG web editor and put the date on the top above of the page and submit to free hosting and voila it's original simple site.

 

These newbies who can not even create their own original website and just put affiliate links here and there on their blogs are not genuine internet marketer or affiliate marketer even could not be categorized as webmaster. They could get the same result cheaper by writing and put their affiliate links on newsgroup like the old days (no need website).

 

As long as money is to be made then who cares if its a blog or a site.

 

I made a blog because it suites the way I write.. I also found it alot faster to set up then creating a web site from scratch. I've been doing web design for quite a few years so I decided to create a web design blog (and I certainly know PHP, HTML and CSS) so it's not only 'newbies' that make blogs.

The blog I made gives tips on web design and gives out free web designs and web design things (in .psd)

So make sure you do a little bit more research into a topic like this before you go posthing that blogs are for newbs.. I think alo to people would disagree with you..

I have looked to your website and my art instinct reject this common format, left text, right navigation, text ads or banner, for me it is not balanced (navigation link should be on the left ) and not attractive and makes me imbalance too like just drunk LOL. I think you could make it more attractive with your own original template than following the newbies herds who can not create website (coding html). And I have noticed blog for a long time since its inception days but until now I could express my opinion about these blog and derivatives.

 

Even shop, supermarket, malls and banks needs decoration expert to create pleasant nuance for visitors. Certainly you wont come to these modern market places if they are dark, ugly and hot without AC, although sometimes you can buy some cheap old antique stuffs at the non decorated flea markets.

It just depend on how you build your web.
As long as your website have sitemap facility and able to ping Google for any update on your site (blog have this feature - especially wordpress), google will list your web very fast. Other consideration is you can use Google Webmaster Tool for faster indexed.

The reason it's listed fast is because it's just a SE-friendly platform. Make your website structure as search engine friendly (BnP, sitemaps, SE-friendly URLs, etc.) as, say, wordpress and you'll be indexed just as fast.

I can't agree with. Blogs are simple personal medias which means they are the source of information .Else bolg is web 2.0 application while website is alway considered as web1.0 [ I called it the name] . Blog comment allow user generated content while the website doesn,t allow. website trend to learn advantages of web2.0 blogs.

Else, there are thousands of blog applications and their themes , skins.
some are extremely excellent. Taking wordpress for examples, it is developped and maintainance by world top php programmers.
OK you should know why google seems to prefer blogs .

Yeah, his site looks alot worse then most of the blogs out there at the moment... in fact worse then the default blog layout lol.

 

So you think your blog site is not a piece of crap too ? I felt imbalance too when visiting your blog. I suggest you use blogspot than buying domain name for only blog cause it's cheaper.

 

my site is nothing compare to top websites, I have a lot of beautiful templates but I chose to design my own at least it's my own layout and creation not common boring imbalance blog layouts. I suggest you use your html and css skills than using common blog scripts because your blogs really make me imbalance want to fell down to the left and I want to see the real you not common herds layout.
