Just out of curiosity, i thought I'd ask you guys what you think a forum with these stats would be worth.

    - vBulletin Forum
    - Non competitive niche (only 3 or so sites in the niche)
    - 25,000 threads
    - 329,000 posts
    - 2270 members
    - 800-900 visits daily
    - 350,000-400,000 pageviews monthly (10-15k daily)
    - Assume no revenue
    - No paid posting
    - PR3 domain
    - average 25-30 users on at a time. More recently has been 40+.

    Thanks

Depends on the vB license and income.... 10-15k daily wow thats about over 100$ if you set the ads up right,
i'd say hm 2,270 members thats a tough call there..

I would never offer $5K for that. Especially with no revenue.

I would say around the $400 - $600 range, and more if making profit.

You'll never get 5K from a site that is making under $100 a month profit.

    Think about it.

All the members and posts and page views don't mean anything if the site isn't making money.

"I have a site with x amount of views, x amount of members, x amount of posts. It makes $50 a month."

Excuses of "I haven't really tried to profit" and "I don't have the time" won't fly with real buyers in the xxxx range.

Get it profiting in the high xxx first

    sell for the low xxxx

    yuhdig.

    Agreed.

A site with no revenue, and you expect into the $XXXX range? You must be hitting the pipe.

If you think you can get that from this site, you need to put in the time to cost justify that.

I would say to stick some ads on there, get some revenue, then you'd be able to sell for a lot more. Plus you'd get money in the process ;)

Surely you need it to start generating income before you expect to make anything substantial from it. Think about it. It's a "business venture" for somebody. Who wants to buy a business that is not turning a profit. Yes, some will, but they won't pay high dollar for it!

well all of the people who say it is no good because it is not earning alot... well i would say you lack experience as the site has potential. When google bought youtube they knew it wasnt make alot but that it had potential and by monetizing with ads it can make money, same with this site.

    I would say 5-10k
