No. Didn't feel like reading it. What if you have current funds in E-gold?

The US Government has tried to push money laundering charges onto e-gold in the past as well but nothing happened. Longtime e-gold users have seen the threats come and go. E-gold still stands. BTW Im using e-gold for nearly 8 years now.

Its not closed. If you read the actual press release, it states that egold will continue to operate - it just will have fraud measures and identification measures added, as well as proper licensing as a money transmitting business.

So, sounds like they are still open for business =)

This is great news as usual. We should all keep using e-gold. No other ecurrency upstart comes close.

Personally find e-gold to be a hassle...but that article is a pretty big deal. Gonna keep an eye on this.

It may be a blessing in disguise. E-Gold may be able to get rid of the undesirable image as a seedy operation and who knows, may turn out to be a real competitor to Pay Pal.

Lets hope a stronger, cleaner and more competitive E-Gold emerge from this. I would definitely like a strong competitor for Pay Pal.
