How do people make money through adult sites? Not the actual sites that have the models and everything... but the small websites that post pictures and videos from other sites... anyone have experience on this and could PM me to help me understand? or give me some examples of adult sites that make good money that aren't actually creating unique content? thanks!
You can always sign up for adult affiliate programs. Someone clicks a banner and signs up you get a commision.
Yes very easily actually. I find I make more on my adult sites then any other sites I've done and thats including blogs. Maybe I didn't do the blogs properly but I always found more of a audience for pornography.
The majority of what you'll see (Pics, Videos) means they're doing what is called a TGP (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thumbnail_gallery_post) which is basically affiliate advertising on crack. The pornography industry has always been a step ahead of other affiliate marketers. They understand the value of a good "sample" and provide it to webmasters for both parties to be successful, and in some cases , hugely so. .
Exactly, it's like a datafeed of pornstars. I'm guilty of clicking these myself lol (just kidding ya'll)
They're making money by placing ads (BlackLabel or Clicksor) and by having affiliate content - you click on the content and sign up then the originating site gets a kick-back...
Netpond. There may be others out there, but last I checked (and it's been a few years I admit) they had almost a step by step on how to do different adult sites, and the basics. Good luck toots.
Interestingly someone gave me a negative rep for posting the above comment - can anyone tell me what's wrong with what I've written? Was it the tone of what I said? The negative rep said 'get a clue'... strange...
I agree - traffic is the key to having a successful adult site that's based on affiliate programs. But it's a numbers game - if you can buy 6000 uniques per day cheaply enough you should get enough kick backs to make a profit... I've found that buying links on some sites works well but they can often send so much traffic that it crashes your site!
Try buying a link on worldsex.com/org - it costs around $300 - if you're not running on a dedicated server with plenty of bandwidth you're likely to get that crash you're after Cheers, p.
