What is possible with a Wordpress post?

I know Wordpress is a perfect way to post blogs in a story to tell it to the world, but what's more possible with a wordpress post?

Is it possible to turn a Wordpress post to a review post with criteria? For example like this image instead of a traditional text content post:




I really have no idea whether it's possible to play with a Wordpress post and change it into something else than a traditional textual content post.

There are plugins at wordpress.org that will let you post just about anything in your WordPress post. Things from pictures, videos, flash, etc (along with any combinations thereof). If you want any help feel free to contact me at one of my IM contacts in my profile.

Thanks for your reply, but since I am not really familiar with Wordpress into depth I have no idea what's possible or not. I just have experience with Wordpress traditional blog writing.

What I actually want to know whether it's possible to create an exact looking layout/post like the image example I have uploaded, which means:
- rating bar in the top left of a post
- company details like address, postalcode, URL etc.
- thumbnail images on the upper right side
- things like that.. etc.

 

you need a perfect theme .. and you should have some css/php knowledge to customize your them according to your need..

or search on google which looks like the same u require..
Go to Edit Design option in your Wordpress Admin and you should work on CSS files and some php files to customize..

 

You can insert your own HTML tables in a post...

SEO wise is it ok doing this? been thinking about the uses of those recently.

Or am i getting confused with code size differences.

 

SEO wise what counts is that the data are readable for the bots.

Just check it and you'll see what the bots can see.

Wordpress is so flexible that it can be used as an ultimate CMS
From the screen shot u have given it seems that they are using custom wp themes and custom plugins(which are surely made by taking existing wp plugins of similar kind but not similar looks) ...
It is important to note that source code is editable for every plugin and theme and hence a good expert programmer can do anything by editing and tweaking it

I saw the Tables plugin available then saw that it unfortunately is not updated now and with no plan of updating it.
