Back links in Google & yahoo a hug difference?

    Hi,
    I seen in many sites there is a big difference between number of back links in Yahoo & Google back links
    e.g. if I go for check back link in yahoo I found number of back link 200 but in Google number of back links 25.

    Yahoo shows more of your backlinks. Google hides some.

    Yea! because Google doesn't show each backlink. Yahoo! is good at showing backlinks ;) :)

    I've seen differences like - 10k+ in Yahoo and only 150 in Google.

    Google is conservative in showing its backlink. While Yahoo shows most of it, even the No Follow links. On the other hand, if you want to see all the links from google. You can use Google Webmaster Tools.

    Yahoo shows all backlinks while google only shows he ones used to rank a site.
