    Hi there, I wanted to get your help in nominating a directory for Directory of the Month for May 2006. FYI, the April Directory of the Month was www.activewebdirectory.com

    Reasons to nominate are as follows:
    1) Cool design (that is not taken from a template site)
    2) Innovative concept that makes it unique

    The winning site will be featured on the homepage of phpLD which is currently PR 6 (and probably a PR 7 on the next update).

    I would suggest to open a thread and dedicate for nominations and voting :)
    You can also do it on your website to increase the interest in phpLD and try to place winner's link at prominent place so that it should get maximum traffic advantage :)


    This will also help in removing crap of same kind of general directories with same cheap templates. :)

    And also design some logos for the winners and monts so that you can keep track of winners and winners can keep the logo on their website. :)

    I'll be shooting for June :D

    Not so much in the design implementation, but rather in developmentorial/achievement way. I really hope time permits me to be able to get it done prior to May

    This directory has a categorical structure that is parallel to none.
    I wrote a little mod to display how many categories the directory structure has. :D

    So for those of you aiming for June, good luck!

    Sites cannot be template rips. They have to be orginal in design.

    Here's an idea that I think might will be allowed here on DP.
    Start a new thread dedicated to Nominations for June phpLD Site of the Month. Then we will get someone to compile a list of all of the sites, and we will bring to a vote.
