What Am I Doing Wrong?

Hey,

Spent $130 usd on banners on webmaster sites 7 days ago for my site: http://www.viralprofitsavalanche.com.

It's a simple squeeze page, I did everything I was suppose to do in a squeeze page but only got 2 sign ups.

Need help...

And have received 80 visitors in the last 7 days, 2 sign ups = 2.5% sign up rate?

That seems too low, especially the fact that I can't really improve on my squeeze page in content

First thing, you might want to get rid of the phone number field. Its an extra field to fill in which isn't particularly useful for what your trying to do in my opinion, and makes me want to hit the back button in my browser. People don't mind giving up email addresses but phone numbers - no. Just my two cants worth.

Personally i think the "viral" thing has been done to death on the internet, i relate "viral" to a scam/spam type website personally. However it might just be that your traffic received from the banner ad's may have not been targeted enough to convert a high percentage? hope this helps in some small way mate

Only morons sign up to sites like these. Seriously, hardly any one falls for these things. Instead of trying to scam people, why don't you make a decent website that actually helps them

 

Change the design.I mean when people see this type of templates like single page template and asking email id they feel that you will feel there inbox completely.So they dont sign up better create a website and if you dont need email id then just give them the download link.

If you are giving out a free report on how to drive traffic to your site, why do you have to spend 130usd for 80 visitors. Would you not be better to read your own information to drive the traffic to your site?

 

I am, I'm using youtube (viral marketing). I'm just spending money on generating traffic from banners which don't seem to convert

 

For a site first look is very important. when i enter your site i dont feel safety
it looks very complicated.Dolars.....
May be you will design a clear site...

 

You might want to focus on improving your SE rankings to get more organic sign ups.

 

Try ppc marketing instead, that might be more effective.
