More than 3 ads means it will be referral ads..

and also you can put 3 link ads also in a page..

i also thought that the more ads ou have the less $$ you get from clicks, so 1 ad block in a great place is better then just 3 ad blocks spread across the whole page

If you insert more than 3 ad units, no matter what, only maximum 3 will still appear. Or maybe I think you have mistaken between an ad unit and link unit which are totally different.

The troublke is if you have more than three adsd or indeed alot of ads you will weaken the bidding power of your words and your net yields will fall

3 ad unit + 3 link unit + 2 search unit can be placed on a single page.

What do you mean? That because there are more adds, more people lower down the bid will be able to advertise?

To me, it seems like each add unit is independant, so this shouldnt be the case. The adds seems to appear partialy randomized on each one and partialy sorted by bid price

By being an idiot... why would you want to have that many Google Ads when its clearly against Google TOS and once that website gets found, either the domain itself will be banned or the owner themselves will be... it's only a matter of time, nobody can escape the wrath of Google's technology..
